Short answer: Travelers entering or leaving Colombia. Between 72 hours and 1 hour before your trip, per Migración Colombia. Cost: The official portal doesn’t list a fee.

How to file

1. Open the official Check-MIG pre-registration page.
2. Enter passport and flight details.
3. Keep the confirmation email for the airline.

Before you go

• The form does not replace your passport. Check that your passport is valid long enough with our validity rules by country.
• Passport expiring soon? Renew first.

Look-alike websites charge “processing” fees for forms that are free or cheaper on the official portal. Type the official address yourself and check the domain before paying.
