Last updated: August 30, 2026
1. Who we are
passportoffices.com (“PassportOffices,” “we,” “us”) is an independent, privately operated information service. It is a joint project made with love out of Wyoming, United States.
We are not the U.S. Department of State, the National Passport Information Center, the U.S. Postal Service, or any other government agency, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. Official passport information and services are available free of charge at travel.state.gov.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using this site you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site. We may update these terms at any time; continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
3. Information only — no legal or immigration advice
Everything on this site is general information. It is not legal advice, immigration advice, travel advice, or a guarantee of any outcome, appointment, processing time, or fee. Government requirements, hours, fees, and processing times change frequently and without notice.
Always confirm requirements directly with the U.S. Department of State or the facility you plan to visit before you travel, pay a fee, or submit an application.
4. Directory listings and third parties
Our office, agency, and courier listings are compiled from public data sources and submissions. We work to keep them accurate, but we do not warrant that any listing, address, phone number, hour of operation, wait-time estimate, or availability is current, complete, or correct.
Busy-time and quiet-time charts are estimates derived from published hours and typical patterns. They are not measured visit counts and should not be relied on as such.
Couriers, expeditors, and other third parties listed on this site are independent businesses. We do not employ, control, supervise, or guarantee them, and a listing or “verified” label is not an endorsement or a warranty of their services. Any dealings you have with a third party are solely between you and that party.
5. Accounts and user submissions
You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you submit (corrections, courier listings, reminders, inquiries) and for maintaining the security of your account. You agree not to submit false, misleading, infringing, unlawful, or abusive content.
By submitting content you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, adapt, and distribute it on the site. We may edit, reject, or remove any submission for any reason.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the site except as permitted by our robots.txt;
- resell, republish, or redistribute our compiled directory data;
- interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site;
- impersonate any government agency, business, or person; or
- use the site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
7. Intellectual property
The site design, branding, original text, graphics, and the compilation and arrangement of the directory are owned by us and protected by U.S. and international law. Underlying government facts and public records are not claimed as our property.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and accuracy of data. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, missed travel, missed appointments, cancelled trips, or expedite fees, arising out of or related to your use of the site — even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the site will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PassportOffices and its owners, operators, and contributors from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the site, your content, or your violation of these terms or of any law or third-party right.
11. Binding arbitration and class action waiver
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.
Informal resolution first. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at legal@passportoffices.com and give us sixty (60) days to resolve the dispute informally.
Agreement to arbitrate. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the site that is not resolved informally will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The arbitration will be conducted in Wyoming or, at your election, by telephone, video, or on written submissions. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class action waiver. YOU AND WE AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE MORE THAN ONE PERSON’S CLAIMS AND MAY NOT PRESIDE OVER ANY CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. YOU AND WE ALSO WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL. If this class action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) will proceed in court and the remainder of this section will remain in force.
Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property rights.
Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration and class action waiver section by emailing legal@passportoffices.com within thirty (30) days of first using the site, stating your name and your intent to opt out. Opting out does not affect any other part of these terms.
12. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the arbitration section above, the state and federal courts located in Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
13. General
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the site. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
