Most adults renewing an eligible passport (Form DS-82) must renew by mail or through the State Department's online renewal, not at an acceptance facility. Use this office for first-time adult passports, children under 16, or if your previous passport was lost, stolen or damaged (Form DS-11).

Bring a completed, unsigned Form DS-11, original proof of U.S. citizenship plus a photocopy, a valid photo ID plus a photocopy, one passport photo, and separate payments: the application fee to the U.S. Department of State and the $35 acceptance fee to the facility.

Processing time is set by the U.S. Department of State, not this office, and is the same nationwide. Check the current routine and expedited times on travel.state.gov; expedited service costs an extra $60.
