How to get an appointment at the Honolulu Passport Agency
Regional passport agencies serve only travelers who qualify for urgent service, and every visit needs an appointment. You can't walk in, and appointments are free.
- Check that you qualify: international travel within 14 days, a foreign visa needed within 28 days, or a life-or-death emergency abroad within 72 hours.
- Book the official way: use the State Department's online urgent-travel scheduler or call 1-877-487-2778. Any site that charges for an agency appointment is not official.
- Bring proof of travel: a ticket, itinerary or visa appointment showing your departure date. See what counts as proof of travel.
- Bring a complete application: the right form (DS-11 or DS-82), a compliant photo, citizenship evidence with a photocopy, ID with a photocopy, and the application and expedite fees.
- Arrive on time at 300 Ala Moana Blvd, Honolulu, HI 96850. The agency tells you at your appointment when the passport will be ready.
